CCN provides domestic violence training on a broad range of topics to doctors, nurses, medical staff, and police officers. Through the Medical Advocacy Program, CCN trains and assists medical systems in identifying victims seeking medical treatment, and creates provisions for hospital-wide medical protocols, screening tools, training resources, and video conferencing technology, enabling access to an Emergency Protection Order on-site at the hospital.
For law enforcement, CCN provides basic DV trainings as requested, but also provides training in the Lethality Assessment Program, which provides police officers with lethality screening tools to gauge the danger of domestic violence situations and quickly pair victims with DV advocates.
